[CQ-Contest] An Observation

Somehow or another K0SR gets turned into K2SR.  I don't get 
it.  "Zeee-Ro" has two syllables and "two" has one 
syllable.  How can 2 and 0 sound the same?  I've always 
assumed that because of our infamous lousy propagation the 
DX stations can't believe that they're hearing a Zero so 
they insert a two:)  

It's not like we have a Minnesota accent then or anything ya 
know, you betcha...
