[CQ-Contest] Michigan QSO Party Is This Weekend

The Mad River Radio Club invites amateurs worldwide to participate in the Michigan QSO Party.  The contest period starts at 1200 EDT and runs until 2400 EDT on April 15.  (In UTC, this is 1600Z on Saturday, April 15 until 0400Z on Sunday, April 16).

For the seventh straight year, all 83 Michigan counties have planned operations for the contest.  There will be nine full time mobile/rovers scurrying about handing out rare counties.

MiQP is arguably the fourth largest state QSO party in the USA.  Because there are no single-mode categories, activity seems higher than in some other events.  Last year, the winning non-MI single op, K5OT, made over 300 QSOs in the twelve hour contest period.
