Great job, Jose!
I was taken back in time...yes, often people forget. The good thing about
forgetting is that when you remember, you enjoy it so much!! .

Kudos!

Subject: [CQ-Contest] CQWW 1948-2005 Who is Who in the history of SOAB

This last November, two weeks before the 2005 CQWW CW Contest, while
visiting Porto Santo Island (CT3) with me, my good friend N6TJ was
telling me about winning the CQWW and how personal all our efforts are
because nobody remembers what we do and what we have done. This
sounded a bit strange to me because I keep track of everything that
the main competitors do. But in fact there is little published
information besides the records.

With this in mind I decided to tabulate the history of the winners of
the CQWW SOAB category from the very beginning in 1948 unitl today.

In the link below you will find all the winning scores of the SOAB
CQWW SSB and CW from 1948 to 2005. The top ten Scores. The different
record holders. Who has won more times on CW, on SSB and combined. The
evolution of scores. There is also a litle bit of trivia information
like, who has won from different continents, who has won throughout
different decades, etc.

Hope you enjoy all this information:
