Just to correct the arithmetic in an earlier posting

>QSOs made with own country
>GB5HQ - 3120 out of 12 515 (app 30 % )
>EM7HQ - 1976 out of 10 947 (app 20 % )
>R9HQ - 1621 - out of 7 638 (app. 22 % )
>SN0HQ- 8203 out of 17 584 (app. 45 % )
>DA0HQ - app. 9 000 out of 19 900 (app. 46 % )
That's 25% not 30%. This year our percentage is below 20%. And
critically, we never ask Gs to come on and work only GB5HQ. We want them
to enjoy the contest and make as many QSOs as possible. I believe it is
unethical to work only your own country, and if the problem cannot be
addressed by any other means then I would support exclusion of own
country uniques, leaving it up to the adjudicators precisely how to
define a unique.
