[CQ-Contest] Uniques not counting and emotion

I only get emotional about this because the myth will not go away.  

  Uniques happen.  
  They are not removed from the log.  
  They count for points.  
  End.

This applies to contests sponsored by CQ, ARRL, IARU, NCJ and most other major events.  The WRTC2006 thing was (dare I say it) a "unique" occurrence that only applied to WRTC2006.
