Regarding my post to the NCCC Reflector, I'm curious what hand-out, promo materials other Contest Clubs have made available to members for "Recruitment" purposes???

Tnx & 73...

OK...so where do we get some little NCCC "Trifold" recruiting brochures to hand out? We do have these items available, right?

Yes, I know we can refer people to the nccc.cc website, but methinks too often URL's scratched on a matchbook cover or small piece of paper are going to mysteriously "disappear" before the intended viewer takes any action.

IMHO, for special recruiting opportunity events like Field Day (or even at Swap Meets), the NCCC *should* have something SPECIAL available for member promo use.

OPTION: One or two "Recruitment Oriented" webpages in a special section on the club website which can be downloaded/printed out by interested members as poor men's brochures/flyers for handing out (and keeping a few in NCCC member vehicles for the moments of special encounters with Destiny).

By "Recruitment Oriented", I suggest lingo specifically directed to non-Contesters and potential Wannabees that emphasize the use of words like "FUN", "EXCITING", "THRILL OF THE MILLENIUM", etc., etc. Some kind of word picture verbage that indicates "Contesting" is a safer (and potentially more exhilirating) thrill than Bungie jumping, driving an Indy 500 race car, or watching TV Reality Shows, et.al.

"CONTESTING: The Ultimate Safe Sex" is a possible headliner :-)
