[CQ-Contest] Mark V Field key click fix

Can anyone out there who owns a Mark V Field tell me if a rig with serial
number 4J24xxxx (August 2004) has the Yaesu installed key click mod in it?
I have asked several places, but no one seems to know precisely when Yaesu
started fixing the problem.  I have a 4G21xxxx (May 2004) vintage rig that
does not have the mod.  Any input appreciated...

Also, has anyone who has installed the INRAD key click fix noticed that the
AGC behaves funny after the fix?  In QSK mode with fast AGC, my receiver now
seems to take longer to recover than it does when I am running in QSK mode
with slow AGC.  I realize that the attack and decay times have been
lengthened by the mod, but this "backward" behavior of the AGC is not
something I was expecting.
