[CQ-Contest] What the heck is BERU?

There will be a lot of head-scratching this weekend, as there is this time
every year.

BERU is the Commonwealth Contest. It is for stations within the
Commonwealth only. The Commonwealth is made up of most of the countries
that used to be part of the British Empire. If the Union Jack never flew
over your part of the world, you're almost certainly not in the
Commonwealth.

There are a few other places where the Union Jack did fly, but those
countries are not members for their own reasons (ie. USA, Ireland, Sudan,
Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Israel). The "Commonwealth of Independent States" (ex
USSR) doesn't count, either.

So if you are in a Commonwealth Country, and you hear someone call "CQ BERU"
, please work them. If you're not in Commonwealth country, please ignore
us, only from 1000z Saturday 11 March to 1000z Sunday 12 March.
