Agree, now that the power limit is output, not input to the plate, a CLEAN 
amplifier is an amplifier unless you are running a W7RM op with seperate 
amps for each band in another room to cut down on noise.  And with the 
ACOMM/Alpha, etc. you can do that anyway. 

There might be an exception for 160M or 10M where Q gets a bit high or you 
are running out of C.  Or with the GS35 where tubes were cheaper than 
switches...almost
