[CQ-Contest] Contest Popularity

Has anyone ever compiled a chart of the various contests (maybe using the 'BNM list?) and their popularity as defined by the number of submitted logs?  I'm not sure how to go about putting something like that together in the first place, but thought I'd ask in case someone may have gone through the effort already.
