Having operated RTTY for over 20 years as well as being an avid CW op, I
have to agree with Hank. It's obvious that _many_ RTTY ops are tuning
by clicking near the humps in the display and letting their software's
AFC take care of most of the fine tuning.
As with every other mode, there are a few ops who know and practice the
most effective operating techniques, and then there's everyone else.
I agree that CW and RTTY don't mix very well. It'd be nice if we had
clearly defined subbands for each mode, but we don't.
To look on the bright side: At least we don't have that damned Russian
Woodpecker to deal with anymore!
