Few CW contesters who haven't operated Ratty have any idea where to tune
their transmitter in order to create QRM to a Rattier. I don't; and I
wouldn't bother, anyway, since I'm out to make QSOs, not waste my own time
trying to get somebody else on a different mode to move. Instead, I just
mumble, grumble and damb the FCC for their ill-thought expansion of the
voice bands, and the ARRL for celebrating it. ;o\ ;o\ ;o\

THAT'S where the REAL blame belongs. Scrunch a bunch of people together
like this, and as social studies have shown, chaos and free-for-alls
result. We start acting like a pack of rats ;o|

Obviously, part of the answer is to somehow force the FCC to retreat from
the voice band expansions, particularly on 80 and 40 and I think to a
lesser extent, 20. And without the ARRL's support, that's less likely
than..... what.... me winning SS-CW?? ;o)))))
