[CQ-Contest] Domestic stations in CQWW

Was a little different for me.

2006 - 45 USA (1.7%)
2007 - 75 USA (2.0%)

I spent most of my running time on Saturday up around 14340. On Sunday, I
was around 14177. Definitely got more USA callers up higher in the band.
Most guys seemed to be having fun and were being helpful in handing out
QSOs. I will never complain about that!

Could be that the NN3 prefix was more exotic than my K5.

I did have one guy call and ask if he could send me a QSL for my state.
Certainly!

I like that the CQ WPX contest gives 1 point for same country QSOs because
you have to work them to get the prefixes. I am glad CQ WW emphasizes
working outside your country. Yes, there is a bit of a conflict when a USA
caller covers up a DX station, but just like dupes, it is faster to work
them and move along.

Randy, K5ZD
