It's not that I don't agree with your answer, but your answer was discussing
"the very basis of civilization" so I am mystified by it.

The CK in SS has nothing to do with "the very basis of civilization" so I am
afraid I must be missing something.

As to "The league has said that they don't care", is that the Board of
Directors, the Contest Advisory Committee, or an ARRL employee
speaking for himself?
