Bob, I agree that the last few months have been mostly annoying, but I
think you have to accept that CQ-Contest is the longest-lived and most-read
contesting reflector by far. In fact, I don't know of any others.
All of the topics you mention have been discussed in detail over the last
dozen years or so. If you want to generate a discussion about any one of
them, do some homework in the archive and then ask a question.
In the meantime, there's always the delete key.
