[CQ-Contest] NAQP SSB

Immediately following last weekend's NAQP SSB I posted my claimed score on
the 3830 reflector, including a "soapbox" comment. In that soapbox comment I
referenced the fact that I heard a Texas multi-two operating on two
frequencies on 40 meters.

 

Since the contest I have exchanged several messages with the licensee of the
station in question. Based on statements from the station owner and the
timing of the calls I heard Saturday afternoon I have come to the conclusion
that the station did not violate NAQP rules and was not transmitting two
signals simultaneously at the time I heard them.

 

I was pretty tired and running on adrenalin when I posted the score and
soapbox. I apologize for the misunderstanding.
