"What's with the LDC's (long delayed responses)? Some guys wait 
15 or 20 seconds before answering your CQ. Why?"

I always wondered about this too but this weekend I operated M/S for the
first time at W4GAC. While on the run station you get locked out from
sending if the mult station makes a call. That caused a delay in sending a
reply. Very frustrating but the rules state only one signal at a time so it
was a necessary evil.
