Couple that with http://www.wu2x.com/sdr.html. Scott has modified
the PowerSDR software for use as a bandscope that controls some
other software.
One note about the Softrock in this application. The Softrock
mixer is not well balanced and can cause leakage back into the
IF of the primary radio. You may need to add a high isolation
buffer amplifier and extra shielding between the Softrock and
transceiver.
