[CQ-Contest] Getscores, 3830, and cherrypicking

Maybe it is time that the contest sponsors shortened the log deadlines? 
      How much log massaging needs to happen.

A week or two at the max is plenty to get logs in.  If you are mailing 
in your entry it better be in an envelope and have a postmark by the 
submission date.
