[CQ-Contest] ARRL DX Phone Results

I can understand that not everything gets posted to the web at the same
instant (comes from the day job, natch). That I can live with.
It's these constant cuts in the printed published results (be they QST or
NCJ or wherever) that I find aggravating. Ken, you (and Ward and the
others) work hard to put together a good writeup in the space they give you;
to then find your words chopped to bits because of further space
restrictions is unfair to you as an author, and unfair to us League members
as readers.
There has to be another way!

I can't speak for Ward directly, but as the author of the last two
10 Meter Contest results articles, I can tell you that:
(a) What I submitted was heavily edited for space constraints (and
unfortunately for 2007 that editing introduced a typo in one contester's
name that was not a typo in my original manuscript). My original
article
submission is what has been published as the Web Report, and I think
that's generally true for the other contests.
(b) The QST Results, Printable Line Scores, Web Report, LCRs, and contest
records can become available on the web site at different times. For
the 2007 10 Meter Contest, those items separately appeared online over
about a two week period of time before they were all available.
(c) In the Web Report version of the article, there will be links to the
Top Ten boxes, Region boxes, Club boxes, etc. on the right-hand side of
the screen. We'll have to wait for the Web Report for the 2008 ARRL
DX Phone contest to be available.
