If finding a station is one of the human operator´s skills to be
compared - what for do you then want to use skimmer in contesting?

Is it technological throttling to ban cars from bicycle races but still develop better cars (i.e.for car racing)?
(being regularly detected and flawlessly identified on a crowded 40m-band by an EU-skimmer in WPX with 5W to a lowwire or constantly followed by a skimmer in the US when using different CQ-frequencies in CQ-M with 100 W - not too bad for a technology in its very early stages)
