[Sorry about previous truncated message]

The May 2 NCCC Sprint Ladder competition brought good conditions and

an all-time record scores for NS Ladder Congrats K7SS 71 Q's, 35 mults,
2485 points. Wow!

      -- Also notable, John K4BAI, 2088 and Ken N6RO, 1976.

These and other high scores were made possible in part by the timely return
of Todd, WD0T with the choice SD mult. Additionally good to see W5JAW back
in the chaos plus the first appearance of veteran contester Tim, K3LR, who
echos that often heard comment "What a great contest". Maybe others will
want to follow Tim's hint.

For this week . . This Thursday night is will be the last NS Ladder beforfe
our 3-week hiatus for Dayton, a scheduled off week and the Memorial day
weekend. After that , competition will get serious as we go into the final
6 weeks of NS Ladder. There are some close scores -- for example in the E.
of Ms. River div, Steve, N9CK and Tor, N4OGW are in a battle with average
scores of 1404 and 1414, Ted W4NZ very close behind at 1336 average score.
West of Ms. River is more complex, and of course N6RO is in his usual
position for the NCCC.

So. . give it a shot before the Dayton Break.
