I don't have a gripe about standardization of county "names" but it just 
seems this is indeed the tail wagging the dog.  I would think that a 
software programmer would be able to create a module where the contester
defines the "names" or aceptable abbreviations for the counties in 
a given party.  That puts the burden where it belongs.

As for me...I use a ball point pen and a sheet of paper--thus it really 
isn't my problem I guess.
