[CQ-Contest] Contesting is better without packet

Rather than blame spotting, why not teach/use effective operating
procedures? Many casual operators, especially in SS, get on to try and get
a sweep only, and are not really interested in max QSOs.. (hence so many
U-class stations). They love spotting. In SS, we need to encourage
participation, and in that regard, spotting is a good thing.

On Sunday, there is plenty of spectrum. If your in a rare section, for
gosh sake, operate split if the pileup gets too crazy. Up 200Hz would be
enough. Callers will quickly learn to spread out. I'm sure lots of
casual people get frustrated by single-frequency pileups.

Tree, I was in a multiop this time, and we did the 1st 24 straight -- so I
got on with my call for a couple of hours just to run the pileup... and it
was big! I'd say only about 1% of the CQs were answered by stations calling
on the exact same frequency at the same time, so I had to ask QRZ?
