The June 2009 issue of QST will have a product review of the IC-7200.
If you are an ARRL member, the review is already on the Members Only
web page.

Subject: [CQ-Contest] IC-7200 for travel contesting

Hello everyone,

I'm looking for a compact, rugged radio that I can carry with me easily
on
occasional overseas trips which often involve cw contesting.

My primary radio is a K3. I've been looking at the IC-7200 as a travel
radio, because it seems to suit my purposes, and I would rather carry
around
an $1100 radio than a fully loaded K3 worth close to $4000.

I'd like to hear about anyone's experience with this radio,
particularly in
a cw contesting environment. Please reply off-list to

ajwanschura at gmail.com

Thanks and 73,

Tony
