Thanks for the good wishes.

 

I just have checked the rules of the first WAEDC 1955 again, you can find them here (but German language only, sri – it’s an extract of the original DL-QTC): http://www.darc.de/referate/dx/archives/waedc1955.pdf .

 

Some important rules were already part of the 1st WAEDC:

-          Separate 48 hour parts for CW and Phone (no RTTY at that time yet) at that time both on two weekends in September,

-          Traffic only between Europeans and Non-Europeans,

-          The famous and unique QTC traffic.

I hope we can keep up this tradition despite all modern changes…
