[CQ-Contest] Station Inspections

Peter,

Do you know what the inspector's function specifically is? FD is sort of a gray area, as technically it isn't a contest (well here any way). Have stations been disqualified?

Just curious, until Doug posted his question/comment I thought WRTC was the only event with judges/inspectors.
