One of the problems is that you tend not to be loud, for a variety of
reasons.  So far, it seems folks have stuck with the tried and true
way of just operating split.  I have heard a few folks operating
higher up in the bands during a few contests, but so far it seems to
be unexpected rather than the norm.  This results in fewer QSO's...
