In RDXC, the exchange includes a serial number. How to determine serial
numbers sent by non-combatants in Qs that were derived from
participants' logs? It also seems to be a bit of a challenge to me to
say whether or not a Q with a non-combatant claimed by participant even
took place. The "confirmed" bits in RDXC results, to be confirmed, seem
to have to come from logs received.

Yes, being DX helps but so does being loud. I doubt non-combatants are
more attracted to louder DLs or IK5s because those stations are louder
than they would be attracted to not-garden-variety DX.

I think not-garden-variety DX is at a disadvantage in RDXC & a quick
look a little closer seems to support this belief, see
http://home.pacific.net.hk/~vr2bg/hrsa/analysis.html to see what I mean.

Two issues - one is getting dinged for others' mistakes & is frustrating
for all, the other is one that is frustrates a few for simply who they
are. In the case of the not-garden-variety DX competing at the top of
the game, the result could be roughly doubling the amount of wasted time
(making Qs that don't count) than others. For the occasional 5B4,
probably not a problem as still having more fun than staying at home.
The resident 5B4 - as once not-garden-variety DX myself - might see it
differently. ;^)
