Join the fun this weekend as the RTTY mode opens the CQ WPX season.
Familiarize yourself with the rules which have a few differences from the
CW/SSB modes: www.cqwpxrtty.com/rules.htm.

Please send photos and stories of your contest activity to
mailto:w0yk at cqwpxrtty.com. Everyone is encouraged to do so, not just
expeditions or big guns. The vast majority of contest participants are
modest home stations so let us know about your operation for the results
article this summer in CQ magazine.

MixW users please read the instructions for setting up your software for the
contest and how to generate a proper Cabrillo file afterward:

Check out the searchable database of past results at
www.cqwpxrtty.com/score_db.htm, where AA5AU is adding data. Currently it
goes back through 2006 and Don will add the earlier years as time permits.
Also, take a look at www.cqwpxrtty.com/stats.htm which shows the strong
growth in log submittals for this contest. Thanks to Don and K5ZD for
adding this feature to the web site.

There is a special award to recognize Single-Op contest expedition efforts,
the I2UIY Memorial plaque, so be sure and send your recommendation to
mailto:w0yk at cqwpxrtty.com for the recipient in this weekends contest.

Have fun and see you on the bands in less than 30 hours!
Ed Muns, W0YK
CQ RTTY Contest Director
