[CQ-Contest] [Yaesu] Age related problems in FT1000?

I spoke to Yaesu about four months ago about an issue with one of my 
FT-1000D's.  They told me at that time they still had some boards and parts 
in stock but when then are gone, that's it.  And also some units that they 
can canabalize parts from.  So if  you have a problem, call Yaesu's number 
and speak with Jerry, head of the repair department before you do anything
