A snapshot of SS contest signals, 40m band in urban Sydney, VK2.

Nice grayline propagation to east coast, an hour before local sunset.
WX3Ba and W9RE were the strongest signals, peaking well over S9.

All the above signals are 12,000-15,000 KM from VK2 :-)
