[CQ-Contest] 10M Multi Operator Category - A change?

What am I missing here?  The ARRL 10m Contest is a dual mode event ... 
both CW and SSB are allowed, either separately or mixed.  Why wouldn't 
at least a M/2 category be a viable addition?  Seems like it would be 
straightforward to implement from the ARRL side, although a bit more 
involved (filters, etc) from the operating side.
