My fellow contesters,

As some of you know over the past several weeks Hank Kohl, K8DD, has 
been hospitalized in critical condition following complications from 
surgery to repair an abdominal aortic aneurysm. This morning Hank passed 
away peacefully surrounded by family and a few of his dearest friends. 
Hank was my best friend and best friend to several other people in his 
life. He was my contesting Elmer and my life was made immeasurably 
better by him being in it and I couldn't have asked for a better friend. 
Per his wishes there will not be a funeral, but a memorial service will 
be held sometime in the Spring. I'll be sure to post details as to where 
and when it will be held.

His wife Kathie extends her thanks to everyone for their cards, prayers 
and well wishes.
