I am proud to relay that Gene, W3ZZ received the Presidents award at the
Central States VHF Society (CSVHFS) banquet last night - during its 45th
annual conference this weekend (in Irving, TX).

The CSVHFS Presidents award recognizes Gene's unselfish contribution of his
time and knowledge to the Amateur Radio hobby.

The CSVHFS Presidents award is very rare - there are only two other
recipients of this award - in the last 45 years.
