Hi,
[Please forward to your contest club e-mail list]
Some reminders about the upcoming NAQP CW contest scheduled for Jan 8-9 and NAQP SSB contest scheduled for Jan 15-16:
1) The maximum output power at any time during the contest is limited to 100 watts (classified as LOW power in your log).
2) Be sure you log QSOs on the correct band - particularly if you frequently change bands or operate SO2R.
3) Use standard abbreviations to log the QTH portion of the received exchange for each QSO. For US states and Canadian provinces and territories, use standard postal abbreviations. For North American countries, other than the US and Canada, use the standard ARRL DXCC entity prefixes. Other abbreviations are acceptable as long as they unambiguously designate the QTH. A blank QTH or designation of "DX" as the QTH is only acceptable for logging QSOs with stations outside of North America. Don't assume your contest logging software produces a log that meets these requirements - examine it before you submit it. You may need to update your software to the latest version (for example a new version of Win-Test corrects a problem with QTH designations).
4) The deadline for log submissions is 14 days after the end of the contest.
5) Submit your log by uploading it using the web app available at:
http://www.ncjweb.com/naqplogsubmit.php
These and other logging guidance that are designed to reduce errors in entrants' submitted logs before, during and after the contest are described on the NCJ web site at:
http://www.ncjweb.com/naqplogguidance.php
Official rules are available at:

Have fun in the contests.
