I'm standing right with W5OV on this. 


Why change or not follow the rules because a minority feels it might be outdated or archaic? 
The rules are the rules.. If they affect your rate, they affect everyone's rate. 

Too much of this stuff going on in Radiosport, and it is increasingly having a negative impact 
on contesting 
If you can't follow the rules or don't like the rules, don't play in that contest! 
The rules of each contest pertain to all of the contestants, not just to those that chose to 
abide by them.
