[CQ-Contest] CQ WPX 2011 CW Certificates - 43 sent to wrong address

The direct mailing of the USA/CANADIAN/MEXICAN certificates

for the CQ WPX 2011 CW Contest was made on Saturday, and many

were delivered yesterday and today. 

 

Unfortunately, 43 envelopes for USA-only winners (they all

have calls between N2UR and NR5M) had the correct call and name

printed on the envelope, but the rest of the address was wrong;

it was the address from an adjacent alphabetic call sign.

 

The corrected certificates will be sent to the correct address

later this week, so if you received one in error it is not

necessary for you to remail the certificate to the real winner.

 

The overseas certificates were sent on Monday to CQ Magazine's

bulk mailing company so they will arrive in the next two to three

two weeks, if that process performs as it has in the past.
