RULES OF THE UA2 QSO PARTY 2012

Sponsor: UA2 CONTEST CLUB

 

Date: 13.00 - 16.59 UTC, May 20, 2012

Modes: CW, SSB. 

Bands: 80, 40, 20 m

 

Entries: 

A - Single op - All bands - MIX

B - Single op - All bands - SSB

C - Single op - All bands - CW

D - Multi op - Single TX - All bands

E - Juniors (age up to 18 years)- Multi op - Single TX - All bands

F - SWL

 

Exchange:

UA2 stations send RS(T) + RDA Identifier (for example: 59 КА03). 

The rest send RS(T) + serial number starting with 001.

 

Points: 

5 points for UA2 station, and 1 point for any other station. 

QSO with the same station on the same band in other mode, or from another RDA KA Districts (mobile UA2) are allowed. 

Only one transmitting signal is allowed anytime.

 

SCORE: 

Points summary. 

Scoring shall be performed based on received logs. 

Decision of the Referee Board shall be final.

 

Notes for SWLs: 

SWL gets 3 points for 2-way record (two calls and two exchanges received). 

One and the same station-pair shall be recorded only once on particular band, regardless mode.

 

Awards: 

Winners shall be those with the highest scores in particular entries. 

Plaques will be awarded to all entry winners. 

Special prizes: 

"For the highest UA2 stations worked"; 

"Best UA2 portable /p, or mobile /m station".   

"Continental leader"

Second and third place entrants in each entry shall be awarded with small plaques.

Participants achieved "KDA" (http://www.qrz.ru/awards/detail/37.html), please include a statement in your log to get the certificate. 

 

Logs: 

Please include all QSO data in chronological order.

SWLs please include both calls and exchanges recorded.

Electronic logs to be in ASCII format. 

The following contest software may be used among others: N1MM, K1EA, N6TR, Writelog, AALOG-RZ4AG, UA1AAF, etc. 

Please include your call, name, postal and/or electronic address, entry, RDA ID (for Russian stations).
