[CQ-Contest] CQWW/KL7 in lower states

Thank you for the answers,

I anticipated this answer from Randy and I really understand what the CQWW contest committee wants.

Really Win-Test should solve this issue - good old CT had a function where you could assign a different DXCC country from the QSO entry line (you just type callsign=dxcc/enter).

Maybe I didn't really make the implications clear - the problem is not the zone or score, that's all neglectable and I know that the CQWW score robot will fix this - it's rather the mere fact that KL7 shows up as worked on that very band in my logging software and I'll have to memorize that fact when searching for mults - and I was looking for an easy workaround for this where I wouldn't have to go back into my log after the contest and change something.

Thanks

This question has come up several times so I will answer it here.

You should log the call sign as sent.

The log checking software will handle placing the call in the right country (or judging if the call sign is not correct).

True, your logging software doesn't seem to count your score correctly, but that is not a factor for the contest committee since the Cabrillo format doesn't mark multipliers. As mentioned above, we will recalculate the score of all logs submitted.

As I said in the webinar. Put your log in Cabrillo format and send it in.
