The CQWW exchange is known in advance for many zones,
including zone 15.

There was no need to ask for a repeat.  You knew, from
the callsign, that the zone was 15.  Sending a zone as
AE is similar to sending a report as ENN - and no one
needs a repeat in those circumstances  :-)
