[CQ-Contest] FT1000 Help needed

Hello....

I have an FT1000 on loan for the CQWW contest. I have a major problem. I am using N1MM. When I connect the CAT cable to the computer, I am able to track the frequency fine. Unfortunately the transmitter goes into transmit when the CAT cable is connected. I disconnect the cable from the computer, everything is normal,  but of course no computer control. The MOX switch is not depressed.  Help  !!!!
