[CQ-Contest] A dive into busting world

Jose,
I remember that bit of the contest very well. I have realized there was a
busted call on the cluster and started to give 6V7V call very slow after
each QSO. Well, it did not help. Nowadays people believe cluster and
skimmers much more then their own ears.
Still amazing how one station managed to put 6474 instead of 6V7V into his
log.

Subject: [CQ-Contest] A dive into busting world

For those who want to dive into busting world, it very easy to collect RBN
data available here http://www.reversebeacon.net/raw_data/ and list
variations of correct calls aroud a frequency.

For example 6V7V is just a terrible call on CW. And at high speed...both
skimmer and humans have problems.
Below is all the variations of 6V7V and the % of times it was busted

For example checking http://rate.pileup.ru/vlog.php?call=5U7V will give us
a hint on how busted packet pile-ups develop.
Skimmer of someone busted 6V7V into 5U7V. All of a sudden a pileup builds
on 6V7V side from 17:56 until 18:09 with all the Assisted stations jumping
to the new mult without listening.
The poor fellows at 6V7V awake to a stream of dupes, and the Assisted guys
to a Busted call with the correspondent penaly 1+3 QSOs when log checking
is done...

 6V7V 6V7U 23.6% 6V7C 19.3% BV7V 14.5% 6V6V 13.8% 5U7V 3.6% 6V7X 2.2%
