How do you make contesting more attractive to little guns and casual
participants?

QSO/QSY

How do you reduce geographical advantage a whole lot?

QSO/QSY

How do you eliminate the need for assisted categories and packet cheating
at the same time?

QSO/QSY

How do you reduce the effectiveness of power abuse?

QSO/QSY

How do turn a contest into a VFO tunning fanatics' paradise?

QSO/QSY

How do you add thrill to it's maximum degree in a contest?

QSO/QSY

How do you make a contest a challenging event where op proficiency is the
most relevant factor?

QSO/QSY

and many many reasons more....

Not only NA Sprint is "...the most fun you can have in 4 hours with your
clothes on..." according to N6TR, but also it is THE REAL McCOy of
contesting.

I even entered NA sprints a couple of times from LU-land with just 100w and
a low inverted V. Despite it was a part time entry, it was one of the most
thrilling contests I've ever entered. Because of all reasons listed above.

Even if CQ WW goes the QSO/QSY route more and more people will continue to
enter. Because it is a whole lot more fun, fair and challenging.

P.S.: Two frequencies 5 KHz apart or more ping ponging, should also be
avoided. Simply QSO/QSY. Otherwise big guns will simply alternate running
on two frequencies 5KHz apart or more.
