Many digital contesters are aware of DL4RCK's RCKSkimmer software, which
allows skimming of RTTY and other digital signals by scanning the RTTY
bands with a conventional receiver. Now Wes, WZ7I, has come up with an
ingenious way to use a single QS1R receiver to generate 7 bands of CW
spots and two additional bands of digital spots, all on a single QS1R
receiver. The RBN is all set up to handle digital spots, and we're
hoping that this innovation will lead to a dramatic increase in the
number of Skimmer spots available to digital DXers and
contestersworldwide. See http://reversebeacon.blogspot.com for all the
details.
