[CQ-Contest] Multi Op and SO2R Station Configuration

We haven't found a slam dunk solution at W5KFT. But I've now done it so
many times, that I can do it in about an hour. :-) Lots of room behind the
operating table helps a lot.

Also, antenna switchboxes and rotator controls are in the middle of the
table. That puts them to the right of the SO2R position -- and in between
the two M/2 positions.

Subject: Re: [CQ-Contest] Multi Op and SO2R Station Configuration

This is of great interest to me. I want to convert my SOLP, no SO2R
station to function as SO2R QRO, M/S QRO and M/2 QRO.

I plan on using 2 K3's, 2 amps, appropriate BB filters & triplexer.
Haven't put much thought into antenna switching yet.

To go from SO to MO and back I plan on moving one of the K3's between
the two op positions. I haven't thought yet about the mechanics of
doing it. Sounds like they may be more complex than I have envisioned.

more efficient. One of the primary goals is to switch our station from
multi operator to single operator with two radios without having to touch a
cable behind the rigs. Our SO2R position is also the same position as one
of our multi positions with two radios in place. Can anyone share how you
convert your setup from multi operator to SO2R? I would like to have the
hardware used for SO2R capability already integrated into our multi op
setup.
