[CQ-Contest] Busted Reversed Beacon Network spots

I was using an AR-6 cluster with unique >1 and didn't see one bad
spot. It just worked great. I did notice that I frequently had
to tune down a bit to get the pitch exactly on frequency. Maybe
it's the way the frequency is rounded to 100 Hz? I had Skimmers
from CA, UT, CO, and OK selected. I kept seeing a ton of
European spots from NQ6N-# that I couldn't hear, and I was
thinking, "Man, this skimmer has great ears!" Then I looked him
up on QRZ and found that he is in Brooklyn, NY, and apparently
has recently moved there from CA. The VE7CC-1 CC-Cluster was
also very solid. Do all the CC-Clusters do similar unique>1
editing?

Steef (and everyone) - each individual Skimmer is far more
accurate than
any individual operator. However, when you have more than 110
Skimmers
listening to a contest, even accuracy of 99 percent or better
still
means that there will be busts. However, it is quite rare that
more than
one Skimmer busts a call the same way in the same fairly brief
time
window. This is why we suggest that people make use of AR
Cluster
Version 6 nodes and their "unique>x" filter to cull out those
busts
while letting the real spots through. VE7CC clusters do
something
similar, by default.
By the way, the statistics for this weekend's contest are just
in - the
RBN forwarded 3,359,395 spots in the two days, for an *average*
of
19.441 spots per second. Makes me wonder what CQWW CW 2013 will
bring.

For spots, please go to your favorite
ARC V6 or VE7CC DX cluster node.
