[CQ-Contest] CW Problem in Sweepstakes

Does anyone remember working me in SS CW and the tone of my CW signal sounded bad?  Maybe a buzzing sound or a CW tone that sounded strange. 
I did a SO2R for the first time in many years and had dug out an old TS-850S for my S&P radio when I was CQing on my other radio – a IC756PRO. Last time I used the TS850S AD8P reported a similar problem but cranking it down to 50 watts (which I did) seemed to help.

Any TS-850S owner's out there that can give me any suggestions on what to check ? I’m thinking there is some loose ground or connection somewhere  inside.
