It's very sad to inform Contesting community that oldest Lithuanian contester Vladas NIKOLSKIS LY1BX became Silent Key at age of 94.
Vladas was very keen CW operator, surely an oldest participant of European HF Championship for a few recent years, including 2013.
Besides radiosporting Vladas was active in many other technical sports activities. E.g. just five years ago He won Auto slalom championship of Kaunas among veterans, leaving behind Him almost 20 years younger competitors.
Lithuanian radio sports federation, members of Kaunas University of Technology Radio Club, many contesters in the World will miss Vladas a lot.
