[CQ-Contest] Sending Your Callsign During A Run

I typically use a 3-second pause between the end of one CQ and the
beginning of another. The timing of the start of your call is a lot
more important than hearing it all - because I will certainly abort the
repeat CQ if I hear you start sending it in the right time window, which
for me is something under a half-second after I sign.

Speaking of signing calls, it is terribly important, particularly when I
have a messy run frequency, for stations calling me to send my call when
transmitting their exchange to me, if there is any uncertainty. I'm
sure I lost quite a few "QSOs" on 10M with stations that were really
working another station on the frequency that I could not hear.

For this reason alone, I think that a requirement to send *both* calls
during the exchange, a la Sweepstakes, would be a step forward.
